Account & Subscription

Your account credentials are for signing in; your subscription configuration is for connecting. Before updating or switching devices, make sure you know which one you’re working with.

Do I need an email address to create an account? What if I forget my password?

No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password, and keep your login details somewhere safe. Your subscription link is not a login credential. If you forget your password, check the login page for recovery options and instructions. If you still have a device logged in, describe the issue in a dashboard support ticket and provide any requested verification details, such as order information. Account recovery depends on the verification results; a route screenshot alone cannot establish ownership. Before sending documents, cover payment details unrelated to the issue, and never send your password in a ticket.

Where can I find my subscription link, and how do I refresh the route list?

Sign in to the user dashboard and follow the instructions in your account overview to get your subscription. Then use your client’s subscription import feature to add the configuration. To refresh the routes, open the client’s subscription or configuration management page, find the VPNIH configuration and update it. Select a route again once the update is complete. Updating a subscription syncs configuration; it does not renew a plan or restore used data. If the update fails, check the subscription status in the dashboard, your device’s network connection and whether the link is complete, then get a fresh link. Avoid repeatedly importing configurations with the same name, so you don’t accidentally select an outdated list.

Do I need to choose a new plan when I switch devices?

VPNIH supports unlimited devices, so you don’t need to choose a new plan just to add another device. Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Linux are supported. Sign in to the dashboard on your new device, follow the instructions for your platform to get a client, and import your subscription. When multiple devices use the same account subscription, data is still counted against the account’s plan; adding a device does not create a separate allowance. Remove saved configurations from devices you no longer use. If a device has been used by someone else, consider whether your subscription credentials need to be changed.

What should I do if my subscription link is exposed?

Your subscription link is an account access credential. Don’t share it in public screenshots, group chats or shared documents. If you think it has been exposed, sign in to the dashboard and check whether you can reset your subscription. Follow the instructions to replace the credential, then update the subscription on your devices. If you can’t find a reset option, request help through a dashboard support ticket and describe how the link may have been exposed. Changing your account password and resetting your subscription are separate actions; changing your password does not invalidate an old link. Don’t send the full link to anyone for verification while troubleshooting.

Connection & Troubleshooting

Check your local network, subscription status, client settings and destination app in that order. Change one setting at a time so you can compare the results.

The client says it’s connected, but websites won’t load. What should I do?

Disconnect first and check that your local network can access familiar websites. Then reconnect the client and try another route. Make sure the active configuration is the one for VPNIH, the selected route has been applied, and system proxy or network-control permissions are enabled as instructed by the client. Other proxy tools running on the same device may conflict, so disable them temporarily and test again. If only one website fails, note the exact error and check other sites too; don’t assume a single-site issue means the entire subscription is no longer working.

Why does my browser work, but an app doesn’t use the proxy?

Browsers and apps may use different network paths. Some apps follow the system proxy, while others need the client to control network traffic; routing rules may also affect them. Check the client’s connection log to see whether the app’s requests are reaching it, then check whether the app is set to connect directly. If the client supports a relevant network-control mode, read its instructions and grant the required permissions. After changing settings, fully quit and reopen the app to test. Managed work devices may restrict network settings; follow your organization’s device policies and don’t change system settings without authorization.

What if subscription import fails or no routes appear after an update?

First, check that you copied the complete subscription link provided by the dashboard, not a browser page address or text with missing characters. Then confirm your plan is active and that the subscription format used by the client matches the dashboard’s instructions. If the client reports a parsing error, save the error text and try again using the import method provided in the dashboard. Don’t delete a configuration that still works, as it may help with troubleshooting. When submitting a ticket, include the client name, platform and steps you took, but cover the credential portion of the link.

What information should I include in a support ticket?

Sign in to the dashboard and open a support ticket. Include your platform, client name, selected region, route type, approximate time the issue occurred and the exact error message. It also helps to say whether your local network is working, whether other routes work, whether only one app is affected and what you’ve already tried. Keep relevant error messages visible in screenshots, but cover sensitive credentials other than your username, the full subscription link and unrelated payment details. A clear account of how to reproduce the issue makes it easier to distinguish account status, client configuration and problems with the destination service. Add any follow-up details to the original ticket.

Speed & Routes

Region, connection path and destination platform can all affect performance. Compare routes in your actual use case rather than relying on their names or a single test.

When things slow down at peak times, should I change regions or route types first?

Keep the destination service and device the same, then try different routes in the same region to see whether the current connection path is the issue. If that doesn’t help, compare other regions. Pause background transfers such as cloud sync and system updates, and check for weak Wi-Fi or local network congestion. IEPL, relay and direct routes are useful points of comparison, but a route name can’t guarantee how a particular connection will perform. If the problem continues, note when it happened, which route you used and what changed after switching, then share those details in a support ticket. This is more helpful than simply reporting that the connection is slow.

What’s the difference between IEPL, relay and direct routes?

These terms describe different ways of organizing a connection path. IEPL uses a dedicated line to carry traffic. A relay route connects the entry and exit points through an intermediate node, while a direct route takes a more direct path to the exit. Actual performance also depends on your local carrier, time of access, exit region and destination website, so route names alone don’t determine which option is best. Choose a region for your destination, then compare real-world results such as page load times, video playback or tool connectivity. Route details shown in the client are based on the configuration currently available in the dashboard.

Which regions are available, and are closer routes always faster?

VPNIH covers 90+ countries and 220+ routes. Check the dashboard and your updated subscription for the regions and routes currently available. Distance is only one factor in performance; carrier peering, routing paths, the location of the destination service and time of access also matter. Choose a region supported by the destination service, then compare connection performance for your use case. A single latency test doesn’t predict long-term performance, and a region that works now may not be accepted by every website. After switching regions, check how the destination service determines your location.

Why do streaming services and AI tools still report a region error after I connect?

Connecting successfully and having a platform accept your current region are separate things. Streaming services and AI tools may consider your exit IP, account region, browser cache, session status and their own policies. First, confirm the selected route meets the platform’s regional requirements. Fully close and reopen the relevant page or app, and clear cache or session data if the platform recommends it. Changing routes won’t change your account eligibility, and it doesn’t guarantee access to a particular library or tool feature. If the error continues, note the original message and avoid repeatedly switching regions or signing in again in quick succession.

Billing & Refunds

Check your plan, usage and order before making changes, paying or requesting a refund. Review pricing and billing periods separately so you don’t mix up plan rules.

How much do monthly plans and data packages cost, and which should I choose?

Monthly plans: ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data packages: ¥158 for 300GB, ¥358 for 1000GB, and ¥658 for 3000GB. Data packages don’t expire and remain available until used. If you use the service regularly, compare monthly plans with your typical monthly usage. If you use it less often, consider a data package. Before choosing, check your current plan and usage in the dashboard, then confirm the billing method shown for the order. Monthly plans and data packages have different validity rules; monthly data reset rules don’t apply to data packages. See the plans page for full pricing.

When does monthly data reset, and how is a mid-cycle upgrade handled?

Monthly plan data resets each month on the date the plan was activated. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated based on the remaining days. Check your account status and reset information in the dashboard rather than assuming data resets at the start of the calendar month. Before upgrading, confirm your current plan, data used and the outcome shown on the order page. Data packages remain available until used and never expire, so monthly plan reset rules don’t apply. If your status after upgrading doesn’t match the order details, keep the order information and ask for help through a dashboard support ticket. Don’t submit the order repeatedly to refresh your status.

Which payment methods are supported, and what if my plan status doesn’t update after payment?

Alipay, WeChat Pay and USDT are supported. Follow the instructions on the order page in the dashboard. If your plan status doesn’t change after payment, return to the order page to check the transaction and order status, and confirm the payment record matches the current order. Don’t pay again just because the page hasn’t updated, and don’t mix payment records from different orders when checking. For USDT, carefully verify the network, amount and receiving details shown on the order. If the payment record shows completion but the order hasn’t updated, submit the relevant order and transaction details in a support ticket. Cover unrelated account information in screenshots.

What is the refund policy, and how do I request a refund?

VPNIH offers 30-day no-questions-asked refunds. To request one, sign in to the user dashboard, open a support ticket, state that you’re requesting a refund and provide the order details to be reviewed. See the refund policy and terms of service for eligibility details. You don’t need to provide a detailed explanation of a technical issue. If you’re also having connection problems, you can include those details to help with the review. Check the original ticket for updates and provide any requested information. Don’t send your password or full subscription link. Refund processing and the arrival of funds are separate steps; check your ticket replies and payment provider records for updates.
